I am exploring the possibility
of opening a small Home Evening Child Care Center at my home at 801 Sheffield
Avenue in Llano for children over 3 years old. (I ran a children’s day care in Austin.)
This Evening Child Care Center would be
open at odd hours from the established day cares and afterschool programs. I could probably keep six children.
I am considering being open
·
from 3 PM until 9 AM weekday evenings and nights, and/or
·
around the clock on weekends.
This would be a service for people who work swing shifts, 3-11s and 11-7s or possibly 10 and 12 hour shifts in the
Llano area. Services would include
· evening and breakfast
meals, and snacks,
· night
time sleeping arrangements,
· help
with homework,
· fun activities
geared to the children’s interests and needs.
